Department of Trauma and orthopedic wards
Trauma and orthopedic wards mainly treat patients with oral and maxillofacial trauma and craniofacial deformities caused by various diseases. The department mainly carries out emergency, difficult, severe maxillofacial trauma diagnosis and treatment, maxillofacial deformity reconstruction and cosmetic surgery. In particular, there are important breakthroughs in clinical problems such as old fractures of the maxillofacial region, NOE fractures, condylar fractures, repair and reconstruction of craniomaxillofacial large area defect. The department has carried out a number of new techniques for craniomaxillofacial surgery. Digital visualization and rapid prototyping techniques are used to reconstruct the maxillofacial tissue defect. It also includes tissue flap free transplantation of motor innervation to repair large area defect of the face, application of augmented reality technology in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
